Here are a couple of minifigs from WWII. On the left is a Russian Cossack in the employ of Germany, and on the right is a Yugoslav partisan; these two guys are actually opponents. FlickrI've recently decided to begin assembling a small WWII army, so expect four more minifigs from me in the near future, as well as a Flettner Fl 282 a bit later. Thanks for looking!

Nice head choice on the Cossack. Good use of your signature anakin head. Why would a cossack fight for germany. Is there a story behind that? My Flickr My Brickshelf

Thanks, guys! Mandalorian wrote:Why would a cossack fight for germany. Is there a story behind that? Yes. Check out the Wikipedia article on Cossacks for more information on the subject.

Very good! Great use of hedgear on the Cossack.
Vot WWII weapons for 2009! And together we can mow down Jerry or maybe even some pesky Allies to a brighter more violent future!

Cool! The hat on the cossack is very interesting. Everything about them looks very realistic. Nice job!

That's some excellent minifigs, very realistic!
Especially the cossack is über-cool looking, the hat is just genius! Also the head you chosed for him works great! I have never been able to find a good use for that head, actually that facial expression kind of freaks me out for some reason...?
I have a few spare horses and would really like to make a couple of cossacks for my collection. You wouldn't mind, would you? ;)

Awesome creativity. I love these guys!
Some of you might be wondering why I have't been posting pics. The reason why is because I lost my camra, which is a big bummer.

This is perhaps the first actual Russian Coassak soldier figure. I may be mistaken, but very nice job on the hat, along with the Yugoslav Partisan. Perhaps similar schemes and designs could work for a Russo-Finnish War vig.

Thanks for the kind words, everyone! sfzdk wrote:I have a few spare horses and would really like to make a couple of cossacks for my collection. You wouldn't mind, would you? ;) Not at all! Mcbob wrote:This is perhaps the first actual Russian Coassak soldier figure. As far as I know, it is. Correct me if I'm wrong, anyone. Interesting idea, but, as neither Russian nor Finnish weapons are produced by BrickArms, I'm not sure how that would work.
