To sell you the truth, I dont realy like the way it looks, not to mention I don't have any of those peices, but thanks for the tip. Another way to make an LEGO bulletproof vest is to use the torso piece from the main guy in the LEGO Studio Jurrasic Park-style set.

A double-barreled shotgun sounds like a great idea - perfect for WWI minifigures.
Now I'm a member - ausgezeichnet (which is German for excellent).

Quote:i just think wil lshould sell his minifigs at a sale once and a while and i doubt a custom lego body is 10$ because then all u need is gray legs, and the hat. and will makes the guns I just thought this deserved a response. One that will hopefully put the issue to rest: Creating a custom minifig, and certainly many custom minifigs, is not cheap. I do it also, so I know from experience. You don't just 'get this part' or 'that part.' You need to buy them. You need to have them shipped to you, which is often not cheap - especially if you have to get those parts from different people or at different times. Toss in 2-3 dollars worth of BrickArms guns, the cost of clear-coat to protect the minifigs, and the time it takes to both create the designs, and apply them -- and it's easy to come to the conclusion that Will already underprices his minifigs. Remember that they're customs - each made individually, not factor assembled in China. Custom items always go for more than 'retail.' The Jester Laughs Because The World Is Full Of Fools

A flame thrower would be an interesting addition as well. As far as the body armor goes: http://cgi.ebay.com/LeGo-dark-gray-minifig-ninja-armor-NEW_W0QQitemZ260084628626QQihZ016QQcategoryZ19002QQrdZ1QQssPageNameZWD1VQQcmdZViewItemThat's the cheapest I've ever found them...work great with or without the shoulder pieces. I agree that the Morita rifle from Starship Troopers and the Vietnam M-79 grenade launcher are great ideas as well.

Okay, me again...found some new ones. Pancor Jackhammer: One of my faves from the old Fallout series of computer games. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pancor_JackhammerThe Striker: As long as we're listing auto shotguns. Easy to make with a regular shotgun and a drum though. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Armsel_StrikerColt Single Action Army: A favorite of any western theme. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Colt_Single_Action_ArmyWinchester .30-30: You can't do western without a lever action. Would be great with a pistol grip too, could do a Teddy Roosevelt vig. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Winchester_rifleo:) So there's a couple more ideas for today. I'm really beginning to like the idea of multiple accessories that can simply be glued to base weapons like mags, scopes, and stocks. And the grenade launcher. =d> Don't just arm yourself. BrickArm yourself.

Oh yeah... There's also the weapons from Deus Ex. Most of them would be impossible to make for a minifigure, but still... A man can dream. Deus Ex Weapons
Remember kids, bley and dark grey can look good together so long as you don't mix them up randomly.
