Probably my best creation so far. It took a while to build and not to long to think of the concept. It depicts a scene from WWIII where my squadron, Tiger Strike Squadron, are in their bunker and the enemy searches for them above. The enemy picked up a signal of life from this area and came to check it out. When they got there they couldn't find anything, but little did they know what was underneath. You can see one soldier taking a peek above ground, hope he doesn't give away the position. This is a possible entry to the Flickr military contest, so I really need feedback on this one. Give me any tips on how to improve, even if it is just better picture quality. Any advice what-so-ever. Criticize all you want, as long as it makes me try harder. Here they are: Whole SceneInside the BunkerThe enemy

Great works Meximan! I like the bunker and gun racks. You have quite the collection of Brickarms. Poor skeletons they don't have any.

Thanks for the feedback guys. What do you guys think of it as a Flickr entry? You think it stands a chance? I'm pretty sure it follows all the rules for a diorama.

The photo lightness/darkness is a bit annoying, and the plates on top are kind of bumped up and stacked wildly. Was that the idea, like an "organic" base? The skeleton idea is cool. Also, gun racks ftw! A Company, 6th Platoon, 3rd Squad My Forum-Please join! LEGO-Imitated, never equalled.

Also, gun racks ftw! Well on the picture of the whole scene I wanted the light concentrated on the skeleton leader. I will post a picture without the light changes. The road was supposed to be a ruined road with a couple barriers for the soldiers to fire from. No light change. Thanks for the criticism though xmrsmoothx. Everyone please give feedback on how you think the lighting should be.

I can't say it I think it includes the "dug down" concept the contest is going for, but thats just me.

An underground bunker doesn't count? Even if there is a visible road above?

Hmmm... No offense, but I can't really tell that there is a road. My thinking was that "dug down" meant foxholes, or something more earthen, but I am no judge and my interpretation is not theirs.

I agree with Horatio. The road could be more pronounced. However, other than that, wonderful vig, meximan! I really think it stands a chance in the contest. A very big chance . . . ;-)

Thanks everyone for the comments and ideas given about this diorama. I just wanted to let everyone know that I did enter it into the Flickr Military Build Contest. I think it stands a chance, but that's just me.
