If you look around the internet all day like I did looking for a Japanese troper I can gurrante you wont find one for sale that is why there should be some place to sell it. Come on the Germans were not the only contry fighting for the Axies. http://img.dailymail.co.uk/i/pix/2007/09_02/iwojimaDM1409_468x388.jpg[MOD - You've already been warned about your posting several times. Maybe you can use this head for an officer and this head for the reguler soldier. Maybe one of them could carry the katana?

Actually, I saw the movie this is from. He is a commander who is actually Chinese. The movie is Letters From Iwo Jima. And I would love to see this minifig. (being the freak I am, he carries an M1911 and the sword you see) If you haven't seen this movie it is great. The Arm

Well this would be cool to see. And there isn't any where to buy one. I guess I'm all for this one.
Ideas are far more powerful than guns. We don't allow our enemies to have guns, why should we allow them to have ideas?

You could make your own by replacing a head of a WWII trooper with a Asian head, and give him a sword.
[MOD - The heads from the TLC are meant to represent features more associated with Asian peoples, not any specific nationality or ethnicity (Chinese, Japanese, Korean). Please keep this mind in future posts. - badger]

Personally, while I feel that this is a great idea (WWII US Marine figs vs. WWII Imperial Japanese figs, while WWII US Army figs vs. WWII German figs), I would wait until suitable Japanese weapons are made. A dark tan minifig with a suitably coloured TLC Kepi could work quite nicely. kaboom4 wrote:Maybe one of them could carry the katana? Yes, an officer fig, along with a Nambu, if it is made.

Hmm... I never thought of that. I guess we should wait until suitable weapons are made (Nambu, Arisaka, etc)

A Japaneses WW2 soldier would be a great idea. I believe a western cavalry colonel's torso plus a blue kepi hat would fit nicely for a japanese naval officer's uniform.

I believe that's a Naval Captain's uniform. I have never seen any Japanese person/s wearing that either.

On the website were I got it, it says that it is a ceremonial uniform used by Japanese officers during WW2. I got the picture from a war museum website.
EDIT: After browsing the site I realized you are correct, it is a ceremonial uniform of a japanese naval officer, my bad.

Scuba, those parts you suggested would be really good for a Japanese Naval Officer. Maybe he can come equip with a Nambu? (if Will ever creates one)
