Very nice detail for a smaller vig! The posing of the minifigs is great as well! Keep up the nice work! I think you will do well in this contest! :)

I saw the other pictures and i almost screamed when I saw those custom guns. Are they made from scratch? Or did you mod a brickarm? Anyways nice vig, it's looks like something you see on a book.
A M1919A6 30 Caliber Machine Gun firing 400-600 rounds a minute, with a bipod, carrying handle, stock, and 100 rounds of 30-06 in a belt! Wait did I lose you?

The M1 Garand in that picture is made from scratch. The M1987 Shotgun is made from a BA M47 Shotgun.

Wait, am I missing something, when was there a military contest??? Anyways, that is a great diorama, I think you should add more of the beach, if you can.
