BrickArms got a little writeup at the uber-cool Thrillist.com

My favorite line: "Equip tiny yellow-headed men at BrickArms.com"

Cool! Congratulations Will!!

With the amount of publicity BrickArms has been getting recently, I'm sure LEGO will have heard of you by now...

Cool, but what does verisimilitude mean? Big words words confuse me, such as Pneumonoultramicroscopicsilicovolcanoconiosis
(wow that URL is long for just one word)

A very nice, quirky write-up!

Basically, it refers to being true or staying faithful to your source. It was Richard Donner's buzzword when he was working on the Superman: The Movie (and Superman II. Nuts to you, Lester).

Sweet. BrickArms is getting to the public! And with the arrival of the new LEGO conventions, well, let's just say you may need a bigger server to handle all the new people joining the forums. And a lot more moderators just in case the new members start acting up.

But this worries me a bit....It might cause a lot of backorders on the site. And cause Will a lot more problems too.

Brickarms deserves all this publicity. These little guns are the best! Keep up the good work Will! :)

Pneumonicultramicroscopicsupervolcaniconosis [breathes heavily] means black lung disease. Anyway, will the main site have a lot of business?

Specifically, it refers specifically to "a lung disease caused by the inhalation of very fine silica dust found in volcanoes" (as stated in the Wiki page). "Black lung" is used to refer specially to lung aliments related to the inhalation of coal dust.

My grandfather was a coal miner, and thankfully never developed black lung. He did have his arm removed by a giant fan, though, but found it ultimately useful in electrical work as his prosthesis was insulated. 'Tis a silver lining to everything!

Well, that's certainly the hope! As Will stated, these types of exposure tend to be fleeting (like when I don't tie my bathrobe tightly enough) but do help to increase the general public's awareness of Brickarms and its fine products.

Dang. Is that the same guy that beat that thief to death with a baseball bat during the Depression?

Fantastic, Will! Now let's see if we members can get you a spot in either USA Today or the New Zealand Herald...:)

Now that I have to tell my uncle - he used to work at an military hospital making prosthetics.
